Friendly Red's Tavern in Windham, NH - Cocktail Bar with Amazing Food

Seems like a locals place. We were staying in the area and ended up here two nights in a row! The first night they were the only place around with 2 open seats for us. Food and drink were both excellent. The next Nighy we wanted a bar, and figured might as well return! Love their martini list. I would have been to the other friendly Reds that is in Derry. Some of the same people work at both places. I ended up getting ribs and they fell off the bone. Delicious! They get a good crowd of people here too. Service was good. The people were friendly. Prices are reasonable. When it comes down to it that's what you want. Outside seating is available too. Just a good place to eat or drink. I recommend!

Calzone and steak tips were outstanding!! Our waiter was great except he was stretched thin. He handled it great and I hope he gets a little extra help on busy nights.

Red's recently catered a last minute gathering for our family, & we'd gladly recommend them; everything was perfect! From planning with their Event Coordinator, Tammy (who was a sweetheart), to their timely delivery, & abundant selection of delicious food, they out did themselves. Everyone had positive feedback; it was a great experience overall.

Friendly Red’s Tavern in Windham has a great reputation from locals in the know. Having my windshield replaced nearby was all the excuse I needed to give it a try. I enjoyed the Cajun Chicken Caesar Wrap, and although it was difficult to detect any Cajun seasoning, it nevertheless was very tasty. The cole slaw was very good as well; not soupy at all, and with all the vegetable colors. Add to that a couple of Red’s Mai Tais and I came away very happy. Very much recommended.

We just left the Windham NH restaurant and the food was so good! I never eat steak tips but I for some reason was craving them. I ordered the steak tip salad with the Homemade Ranch dressing and the tips melted in my mouth, the salad and the dressing were so flavorful. My husband ordered the Chicken Parm sandwich and he said it was very good. This was our 1st time eating here and we can't wait to go back again. Our Waitress was Danielle, the first thing she asked us was "Have you been here before"? She explained all the specials and what days they were on, along with the other locations and their specials. Danielle then asked if we were reward members and signed us up. The place was very busy and she didn't miss a beat with getting everything to us in a timely manner. Oh, the root beer was so good, not sure of the manufacturing company but very good!!! Can't wait to go back, Thank you!

Food was good place was packed the hostess was not good at communicating how long. They looked at us with frustration in their eyes. We waited patiently to be seated. We waited even longer for the waitress to take our order. She didn't realize she was our waitress. Food came in a timely manner and was good. Everything else was positive. Just took a long time to get started.
